National Ophthalmology Database (NOD) Audit annual report on cataract surgery - 01 April 2020 to 31 March 2021

The fifth prospective National Ophthalmology Database (NOD) Audit report on cataract surgery performed in England, Wales and Guernsey during 01 April 2020 to 31 March 2021 was published on 20 May 2022. The Cataract Audit Full Annual Report 2022 and the Key Findings Summary 2022 are available for download.

PROMs Feasibility Study Report February 2020

HQIP commissioned the NOD to undertake a pilot study to assess the feasibility of possible future inclusion of a Patient Reported Outcome Measure (PROM) in the NOD Cataract Audit as a patient focused outcome. The PROMs feasibility study report has been published today, 13 February 2020 and is available for download below.  

 

National Ophthalmology Audit feasibility reports for Glaucoma Surgery and Visual Fields, Retinal Detachment Surgery and Age-related Macular Degeneration March 2018

In 2014, HQIP commissioned a National Ophthalmology Audit which included three feasibility studies for electronic audits in AMD, Glaucoma Surgery and Visual Fields, and Retinal Detachment surgery in addition to the main focus of the National Audit which was for cataract surgery. The reports were published on 22 March 2018 and are available for download below.
